Taylor Swift has made a whole career out of talking about her love life. If she can do it, I can do it too.
In terms of material, I have a treasure trove of stories about failed relationships, online dating, speed dating, and strange men/people that I’ve met over the last 20+ years since my divorce. Dating has been a trip to say the least!
I’ve referenced some of these incidents in my earlier sets. I’ve used creative license for some, most are funny as is.
For the most painful ones, I can’t write about them or make them funny yet. One day maybe, but not yet.
My goal is to bring some of these stories to the stage. I’m so sure that everyone will be able to relate to something I say on stage. We are more alike than we are different.
