Whether he’s performing at a no-holds-barred dark show or a children’s fundraiser, Wafik’s humor is always unique, relatable, and exceptionally funny.

Wafik’s comedic talents have earned him international acclaim, leading to rave reviews and an extended tour of the UK where attained the respect of audiences and agents. His televised comedy special continues to air nationally and he’s featured on numerous radio programs, including on BBC Radio in the UK and CBC Radio in Canada, and XM Satellite Radio.

A pillar of the Canadian comedy community, Wafik is a mentor to many up-and-coming comedians and well respected by his peers. He’s been featured on a Just for Laughs compilation album, proving that he’s not just a fan favorite but an industry favorite as well. His festival appearances include performances at Just for Laughs, Ice Cold Comedy Festival, Cracking Up the Capital, Zoofest, and the Moncton Comedy Festival.

Wafik has dominated comedy competitions in Canada, clinching victories in Ottawa and Toronto, and even extending his winning streak internationally in Nottingham and Manchester, UK. In 2024, he released his first official album, “I’ll Show Myself Out,” adding to his ever-growing list of comedic achievements. Perhaps his biggest accomplishment to date was celebrating 30 years in comedy, an industry not known for it’s longevity but Wafik has been able to stay relevant and exceptionally funny.
